Welcome Committee
The Purpose of our ministry is to welcome new parishioners to OLQA. Call and deliver a wine & bread basket. There are currently 17 committee members pretty well distributed in age from their 20s/30s to 60s. Some long term parishioners and some fairly short term parishioners.
For more information, contact Bill & Joan Donnelly by email or at (949) 721-8913.
Welcoming of New Inquirers
Prior to beginning the formal R.C.I.A. process, interested persons are interviewed by the R.C.I.A. director, given reading materials, and encouraged to share what factors in their lives brought them to their desire to become Catholics or complete their sacraments.
For more information, contact Dr. Victoria Dendinger at (949) 219-1408.
Re-Membering
A process for those who have not been practicing their faith. It offers companionship and solidarity for those who are willing to take another look at the church. The group works through the pain and hurt of alienation in order to move to a place of healing, liberation and forgiveness. A series of sessions with an agenda chosen by the participants begins this process in an open, accepting and non-judgmental forum.
For more information, contact Marie Romano at (949) 548-3884.
